Two people were taken to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at approximately 12:15 p.m. officers responded to the accident on the corner of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Stephens Street. Officers learned that a 45-year-old woman was driving her SUV and was stopped in the turn lane on Garden Valley Boulevard, facing west.  She was behind a second person who was driving her sports car when the first driver had medical complications, leading to her vehicle rear-ending the sports car repeatedly.

Both vehicles moved forward, colliding with the front end of a third vehicle. After hitting that vehicle, the SUV continued through all lanes of travel before colliding with the south end of the Clint Newell Chevrolet building.

The first and third drivers, and a passenger in the third vehicle were transported to CHI Mercy Medical. The second driver was uninjured, and her vehicle was operable. The other vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
