Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reckless driving incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 11:50 a.m. while investigating a traffic crash on Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Stephens Street, the 51-year-old allegedly sped past emergency vehicles, spinning his tires on wet pavement and driving in the wrong lane of traffic. Officers stopped the suspect nearby. He was charged with reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. Bail was set at $12,500.

The man allegedly had similar driving behavior earlier in the morning in the county.
