Two people were jailed for an alleged criminal mischief incident early Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 12:15 a.m. officers contacted the 51-year-old-man and 22-year-old woman at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. The pair reportedly had a fire on top of a park bench, which had caused damage to the bench.

Both were taken into custody. Bail was set at $2,000 for each of them. The woman was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was cited for having a user amount.
