One driver was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck on Tuesday night.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 6:00 p.m. officers responded to the accident near the intersection of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard and Northwest Broad Street. The investigation concluded that a 31-year-old man was driving his pickup northbound on Edenbower when he steered the vehicle into the southbound lane for unknown reasons.

The pickup collided with a southbound SUV. The driver who caused the crash was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for treatment. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene.
