AZALEA MAN JAILED FOR VIOLATION OF NO CONTACT ORDER

An Azalea man was jailed for violation of a no contact order early Tuesday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 4:45 a.m. the 82-year-old called dispatch to claim there had been a physical altercation with another party in the 4000 block Shoestring Road in the Azalea area. During the investigation, it was learned that there was a no contact order between the two parties.

The man was detained on $5,000 bail. He was released later on Tuesday.
