Christmas tree permits for cutting personal trees from BLM administered lands are now available from the Bureau of Land Management’s Roseburg District Office through December 24th.

They can be purchased online: https://forestproducts.blm.gov.customer/permitselect/OR In-person sales will begin November 29th at 777 Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard during business hours.

The cost for a single tree up to 12-feet high is $5. A household is limited to three trees per permit. No commercial permits will be issued. The permit tag authorizes purchasers to cut their own trees on a self-service basis in either the Swiftwater or South River Resource Areas on BLM-managed lands.

Permits and maps are available for purchase by phone at 440-4930 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays.
