WINTER STORM WARNING FOR EASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTY FOOTHILLS

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 10:00 p.m. Monday for the eastern Douglas County foothills above 2,500 feet.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said heavy snow is expected above 2,500 feet. Additional accumulations between 5 and 10 inches are forecast. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
