Roseburg Police jailed a man for a drug offense on Thursday morning.
An RPD report said just after 8:30 a.m. officers contacted the 41-year-old near the intersection of Northeast Lincoln Stret and Northeast Steel Court after he was called in as a suspicious person for appearing to be passed out with his leg outside of a vehicle. During the contact, he was found to be in possession of a user amount of suspected methamphetamine. The man was on parole with a no intoxicating substances condition.
He was charged with unlawful possession of meth and a parole violation. The man was detained without bail.
