Oregon Attorney General-Elect Dan Rayfield has announced the first two members of his executive team, Lisa Udland a deputy attorney general and Jenn Baker as chief of staff.
Rayfield said, “I am excited to announce that we have already begun to assemble a strong team to help lead the Oregon Department of Justice’s executive office through this transition and into my term”.
A campaign release said Deputy Attorney General Lisa Udland, who will stay in her current role, brings more than 10 years of leadership experience at the Department of Justice, including time as chief counsel of the Civil Enforcement Division where she supervised the state’s work on consumer protection.
Jenn Baker, who served as chief of staff for Rayfield during his time in the Speaker’s office, will join the office in the same role. Prior to joining the Speaker’s office, Baker served as labor and workforce policy advisor and legislative director for Governor Kate Brown, along with prior roles for a number of other organizations.
Rayfield said, “In the coming weeks, we will be focused on building a strong team that will lead the work of keeping our communities safe and protecting seniors, consumers and working families”. Rayfield said in light of last week’s election, “…our work to defend Oregon’s values and the rule of law against national attacks will be front and center like never before”.
