Roseburg Public Library is hosting the “Americans and the Holocaust: A Traveling Exhibition for Libraries” beginning Thursday.
A city release said the exhibition is from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association. It presents stories of individual Americans, some of whom took actions that went against the grain at the time and dared to rescue Jews from Europe
The exhibit will be on display through Thursday December 19th. Library hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In conjunction with the exhibition, the library will host three programs that are free and open to the public. They will be held on November 14th, December 5th, and December 12th, all at 6:30 p.m.
