City of Roseburg Buildings will be closed on Monday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.

A city release said that means that Roseburg City Hall, the Public Safety Center, Roseburg Public Library and other city buildings will be closed to the public. The city council meeting that would normally be held that night has been rescheduled to Monday November 18th.

Police and firefighters will continue to provide public safety on Veterans Day, a federal holiday to honor all vets who’ve served in war or peace. Roseburg parks will be open to the public.

The 69th Douglas County Veterans Day Parade will be held in downtown Roseburg on Monday. The grand marshals are Vietnam War Veterans. The parade is organized by the Douglas County Veterans Day Parade Committee.
