ROSEBURG POLICE CITE TWO WOMEN FOR PROHIBITED CAMPING

Roseburg Police cited two women for prohibited camping Monday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:20 a.m. officers contacted a 45-year-old at her camp near the riverbank in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Avenue. Her camp consisted of a small tent and a large wagon filled with various personal items. The camp was found to be in violation of the time, place and manner ordinance. She was cited and released without incident.

Just before 10:00 a.m. a 53-year-old was cited for camping in a city lot in the 700 block of Southeast Stephens Street. She was released after the citation was issued.
