Roseburg Police jailed a woman on a theft charge Friday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:30 p.m. officers responded after a caller said a shoplifter had been detained at Goodwill in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The 29-year old Arizona woman allegedly admitted to stealing $140.00 worth of merchandise.

She was charged with second-degree theft and detained on $6,250 bail.
