Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported theft incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said just before 7:50 p.m. officers contacted the 32-year-old after he allegedly stole food from a business in the 1700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. He was charged with third-degree theft and a probation violation. Bail was set at $1,250.
