ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR DUII/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF COCAINE

Roseburg Police jailed a man for DUII and unlawful possession of cocaine, early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 a.m. the 26-year-old was stopped in his vehicle at the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Imbler Avenue because the vehicle had no taillights whatsoever. He performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests and was arrested without incident. His vehicle was impounded from the scene and cocaine was allegedly found on his person during the booking process. The man was detained without bail. He was released later in the morning.

He was cited for driving uninsured and operating without required lightning.
