COW VERSUS SEDAN ACCIDENT EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING

Troopers with the Oregon State Police dealt with a cow versus sedan accident early Wednesday morning.

An OSP report said just after 4:30 a.m. a 46-year Camas Valley man was eastbound on Highway 42 near Hoover Hill Road when the cow entered the lane of travel and collided with the vehicle. The sedan sustained heavy damage with air bag deployment. It was towed from the area. The livestock owner was located and removed the deceased cow from the crash scene.

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
