AVIVA TO HOLD THIRD ANNUAL VETS AND THEIR PETS CELEBRATION

Aviva Health is holding its third annual Vets and Their Pets Veteran’s Day celebration on Thursday November 7th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

An Aviva release aid the event honors U.S. Armed Forces veterans with a complimentary lunch prepared by Aviva Health staff. The Myrtle Creek Elks Lodge will conduct a flag ceremony and Aviva Health staff members will sing the national anthem. Free massages and haircuts will be available, with other vendors on-site to share helpful information and resources.

Veterans are invited to bring their pets for complimentary services, like rabies vaccines and basic exams provided by For the Love of Paws, and basic grooming services from Sutherlin Pets & Grooming.

Aviva Chief of Staff Ron Harper said, “Aviva Health always looks forward to Vets and Their Pets, a great opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifice of our military veterans”. Harper is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel chief logistics officer. Harper said, “Douglas County is home to many veterans, and we take this opportunity to say thank you for all they’ve done for our country”.
