Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:40 p.m. officers contacted the 63-year-old behind a business in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. He had an open beer in his possession. An officer confirmed the beer was still half full and had a straw coming out it. He didn’t deny he was drinking from it.

He was released after the citation was issued.
