A 57-year-old Myrtle Creek woman was arrested for felony DUII and other charges by Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies Monday on Highway 42 near Coates Road.
Deputies said they stopped a vehicle that was reportedly involved in a domestic disturbance around noon. Renita Kleeber was determined to be the driver and she was confirmed to be driving with a suspended license, according to DCSO.
Kleeber allegedly told deputies of a physical altercation between her and another person. DCSO said it followed up on that report and watched a video showing Kleeber to be the aggressor in the incident.
Kleeber was given a standard field sobriety test and performed poorly, according the DCSO. She was placed in custody on charges of felony DUII, misdemeanor driving while suspended, reckless driving and fourth degree assault. She’s being held without bail.
