Two residents of Myrtle Creek were arrested by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop on Sunday afternoon.
A DCSO report said at 3:45 p.m. a 28-year-old woman was located while hiding in a minivan, which was driven by a 32-year-old man. The deputy knew that other deputies had probable cause to arrest the woman from previous cases. She was detained for third-degree escape and for 4 other charges. The man was charged with a warrant from another case. Both were detained without bail.
