ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN ON 32 CHARGES FOR ALLEGED IDENTITY THEFT CASE

Roseburg Police jailed a man on 32 charges for an alleged identity theft case.

An RPD report said just after 1:00 a.m. Thursday 40-year-old Dee Thomas was contacted regarding a past case involving numerous alleged forged checks that had been cashed into his accounts. Rogue Credit Union reported a loss exceeding $17,000. Thomas was charged with 7 counts each of forgery in the first-degree and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, 8 counts each of second-degree forgery and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, aggravated theft and aggravated identity theft.

Brown was detained on $450,00 bail.
