Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 3:30 p.m. the 51-year-old was contacted along Deer Creek behind the eagle statue near the intersection of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and Northeast Stephens Street. His camp was erected after 8:00 a.m. and in an area where camping is prohibited. A records check revealed the warrant.

He was transported to corrections and detained without bail. He was cited for prohibited camping.
