The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning which is in effect from 2:00 am. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday.

Low temperatures between 30 and 32 degrees are expected.

The Warning applies to central Douglas County including Glendale and Azalea.

Forecasters said frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Residents should take action now to protect tender plants from the cold.
