Roseburg Police jailed a man after contacting him early Tuesday.

An RPD report said shortly after 1:30 a.m. officers found the 56-year-old in the 700 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. He was found to have a valid warrant out of RPD. The man also admitted to having a user amount of methamphetamine on his person. The suspected meth was seized.

The man was held for the warrants and unlawful possession of meth. Bail was set at $3,000.
