Staff with the Oregon Department of Transportation will detail information about their Exit 124/125 Interchange Area Management Plan and Garden Valley Corridor Plan at in-person and on-line open house events that are coming soon.
An ODOT release said the two events will take place to share details and receive input from area residents.
An online open house is available to view from Monday, October 21st through November 8th. A link will be posted on Monday on the project website: Oregon Department of Transportation : Project-Details : Projects : State of Oregon
The in-person open house will be held twice on Wednesday, October 30th. Sessions will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Ford Room of the Roseburg Public Library on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard.
The release said ODOT and the City of Roseburg are working together to plan for community travel needs.
For the I-5 exits, an Interchange Area Management Plan will outline a 20-year vision for access and roadway improvements to protect the function and operation of the interchanges. The Garden Valley Corridor Plan will identify strategies for the city to improve safety, mobility, and connectivity so the corridor better serves the community’s needs now and into the future.
Together, these plans will develop a set of transportation solutions and land use policy actions needed to prepare for, balance and manage transportation and land use needs over time.
Complete details are available on the project website.
