A Yoncalla man was jailed for a parole violation by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Thursday night.

A DCSO report said at 6:00 p.m. a deputy contacted the 40-year-old in the 5200 block of Elkhead Road near Yoncalla. The deputy learned that the man was wanted by his parole officer for not checking in.  He was detained without bail.
