UCC WITH FINAL PUBLIC STARGAZING EVENT OF 2023

Umpqua Community College has their final public stargazing event of the year next Friday night, October 18th.

It will be held at the Paul Morgan observatory from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The public can join UCC astronomers to see a new comet and more. Attendees should bring folding chairs or blankets to watch the presentation on the outdoor screen.

Parking near the observatory is limited to those handicapped only, but ample parking can be found near the Tech Building, with a short walk uphill to be observatory.
