Roseburg Police jailed two people for an alleged theft incident on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 6:30 p.m. officers contacted the 36-year-old man and 28-year-old woman after they allegedly both stole from Harbor Freight in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street and then fled the scene.

They were both located a short distance away and arrested without issue. The woman was charged with second-degree theft and detained on $6,250 bail. The man was charged with third-degree theft and detained on $1,250 bail.
