ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF WHILE ON SKATEBOARD

Roseburg Police jailed a man following alleged criminal mischief in a school parking lot on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 1:15 p.m. officers contacted the 37-year-old after he allegedly broke two vehicle mirrors while riding south on Northeast Vine Street on a skateboard. This was in front of Joseph Lane Middle School. The man admitted to riding down hill on his skateboard and hitting the two mirrors with his body.

He was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $3,000. The man was released Thursday morning.
