The Vineyard Tour is happening this weekend, with cycling, wine and social events between this Friday and next Monday.
Presented by the Umpqua Velo Club, the events are designed to showcase the Umpqua Valley and attract cyclists from near and far.
Activities include:
*A Let’s Get It Started social Friday night from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. at Triple Oak Wine Vault in Oakland. Wine and handcrafted pizza will be available. It’s an opportunity to visit with other cyclists and pick up the Vineyard Tour packet.
*Saturday has the Labor of Love, a Gravel Adventure ride, starting at Cavitt Creek County Park near Glide at 11:00 a.m.
*Saturday also offers an Umpqua Velo Club group ride. It begins at Fir Grove Park on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg at 12:00 p.m.
*Attendees can also enjoy Roseburg Blocktober Fest in downtown Roseburg from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
*Sunday the Vineyard Tour starts at 8:00 a.m. in downtown Oakland. Riders can take on the 100-mile century ride, a 63-mile metric century ride, a shorter 38.5-mile ride or the 17mile ride.
*Monday a 24-mile Coffee Ride with Umpqua Velo Club will begin at 8:00 a.m. at Brix Grill on Southeast Jackson Street in downtown Roseburg.
