Unseasonably high temperatures are expected to continue for most of this week in the Umpqua Valley.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said a flat ridge of high pressure will lead to afternoon high temperatures in the low to mid 80s with the exception of Wednesday when highs will cool to the low to mid 70s.
Roseburg’s normal high temperature for the first half of October is 74 degrees. Highs will cool to closer to seasonal norms for at least part of next week. No rain is in the forecast until the middle of October.
Monday’s high temperature was 78 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
