Umpqua Watersheds is hosting the 13th annual Umpqua Brew Fest this Saturday.
The event serves up great brews each fall and will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Southeast Main Street in downtown Roseburg, behind Old Soul Pizza, during Roseburg Blocktober Fest.
A UW release said it is a celebration of clean water, craft beer, and sustainable living in southern Oregon’s hundred valleys of the Umpqua.
Patrons will taste craft beers, ciders and other brews, from brewers throughout Oregon. The Umpqua Outback Stage will feature music from the Swiftwater Bluegrass Band, Jonathan Foster, James and the Lost Dogs, and Lance Canales and the Flood.
Admission to the 21 and older event is $15. Identification is required. The admission price includes a tasting glass and five tasting tickets. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for tasting, and designated drivers are encouraged to join the celebration. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to support Umpqua Watershed’s environmental education program in the schools.
Volunteers are also needed. Those who work a shift, receive free admission, a tasting glass, tickets and a t-shirt.
