Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Monday night.

An RPD report said at 11:55 p.m. officers contacted the 43-year-old in the 3100 block of Northeast Stephens Street and attempted to detain him. The suspect was allegedly combative and hostile with officers. An officer pointed a taser at him and displayed the lasers. The man complied and was taken into custody.

He was detained for the failure to appear warrant. Bail was set at $5,000. The man was released Monday morning.
