Roseburg Police cited four people for prohibited camping on Monday.

An RPD report said at 9:15 a.m. officers contacted a 41-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman at their camp, which was located about one foot off the bike path near the bike jumps in Gaddis Park, in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. The camp was in violation of the time, place and manner ordinance. They were released after being cited.

At 11:30 a.m. a 62-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were contacted at their camps in Micelli Park, in the 1400 block of Southeast Micelli Street. Both were aware that the area is off limits for camping, and both have previously been cited for camping there. The woman’s large dog was running around, and she allegedly made no attempt to contain the animal. Both were released after being cited. The woman was also cited for a dog leash law violation.
