The November 5th General Election is approaching, and Douglas County Clerk Daniel Loomis has provided a list of important dates to be aware of:

*October 8th: Local ballots for those who will be out of state go to the U.S. Postal Service

*October 14th: Estimated delivery date by Oregon State Elections for Voters Pamphlet

*October 15th: Last day to register as a new Oregon voter. Registered Oregon voters can make changes in their status up to election day

*October 16th: The bulk of county ballots are given to the U.S. Postal Service
