ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR ALLEGED STORE THEFT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged store theft on Sunday night.

An RPD report said at 10:00 p.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old woman at a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after loss prevention staff called over a trespass issue.

Upon contacting the 34-year-old, she admitted to knowing she was trespassed from the store previously and admitted that she was in possession of stolen property. She was arrested without issue and taken to corrections.

The woman was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree theft. Bail was set at $7,500.
