ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN ON CHARGE OF SECOND-DEGREE DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for second-degree disorderly conduct on Saturday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 1:50 p.m. officers contacted the 47-year-old in the 1400 block of Northeast Stephens Street after several callers to dispatch said the man was running into the roadway and yelling. He was initially warned to stay out of the roadway however officers reportedly saw him sprint across Northeast Stephens, causing several vehicles to have to slam on their brakes in order to prevent hitting him.

Bail was set at $2,500.
