Roseburg Police jailed a woman for violation of a no contact order and harassment on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 10:40 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens Street after a victim claimed that two people were physically fighting. An investigation revealed that the 29-year-old was the aggressor and punched the victim numerous times. Dispatch said the pair had a no contact agreement, which the suspect violated by being in contact with the victim.

The woman was detained without bail.
