Umpqua Actors Community Theatre is preparing for All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914.
Out of the violence of World War 1 comes silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Silent Night” in his native language. Then begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace. Performed with an a cappella chorale, All is Calm is described as a remarkable true story in the words and songs of the men who lived it.
It will be performed November 22nd through December 18th. Tickets go on sale October 25th. Admission will be $17 for adults and $12 for children. For more information go to: https://www.uact-theatre.com/
