Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 6:10 p.m. an employee of a store in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street said the man had stolen multiple items from the business. Officers contacted the 30-year-old at the store. The suspect admitted to stealing from the store on multiple occasions.

Officers allegedly found a small bag of methamphetamine in the man’s pockets. He was placed in handcuffs without incident. The man the charged with second-degree theft and unlawful possession of meth. He was detained without bail.
