Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged theft incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 3100 block of Northeast Stephens Street after a caller said that there was a shoplift in progress. Officers contacted the 39-year-old that was leaving the scene with merchandise that had been reported stolen. She was taken into custody and charged with third-degree theft.

Bail was set at $1,250.
