Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public on Wednesday night.

An RPD report at 7:45 p.m. officers saw the 45-year-old with a can of beer in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street. He was contacted and admitted to drinking from the can. The beverage was poured out. The man was given a citation for the city ordinance violation and was issued his first city exclusion warning.
