Thoroughbred Express is getting set to open a new car wash in Roseburg soon.

Director Conner Hayes of Blitz Holdings in Bellevue, Washington told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the company ran into some challenges getting power to its building on Northeast Stephens Street at the intersection with Northeast Chestnut Street. Hayes said the company has worked with the City of Roseburg and Pacific Power to identify a solution to the power situation. Hayes said they are on schedule to complete construction at the end of October and open shortly after that. The property has been vacant since a fire destroyed Kuebler’s Furniture in 2014.

Hayes said Thoroughbred Express is a family-friendly car wash brand with locations in both the Pacific Northwest and the southeast U.S. Hayes said the facility will offer a range of services that include express wash options and complimentary amenities such as high-powered vacuums and air fresheners. Hayes said the company takes pride in its Clean Car Guarantee, ensuring every customer is fully satisfied with their wash experience.

Hayes said the company has a commitment to community involvement through events like school supply and toy drives, as well as family-focused activities. He said they strive to maintain a clean, welcoming environment while also providing a great workplace for their team.

The Roseburg location will have 7-8 employees, with hours of operation being Mondays through Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays.
