The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Food Preservers will have a workshop about Kombucha on Saturday, October 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
It will be held at the Extension office on Southeast Douglas Avenue in Roseburg.
Attendees will learn how kombucha is made, fermentation techniques and more. Participants will leave with a SCOBY, a kombucha they have flavored themselves, plus the skills to make more at home. Safe techniques, flavoring options, and common fermentation pitfalls will be discussed.
