Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a transient on the charge of second-degree disorderly conduct after an incident on Wednesday night.
A DCSO report said just before 11:30 p.m. the 44-year-old was allegedly yelling and refusing to leave an establishment in the 4000 block of Northeast Stephens Street. A witness reportedly had to push him out the door before locking it. The man then allegedly continued to pound on the door and kept yelling, even after deputies arrived and told him to calm down.
The transient was taken into custody. The incident was the 4th call for service that day involving the man. He had reportedly been hanging around that neighborhood and was called in by multiple parties. The transient was detained without bail.
