Roseburg set a daily record for rainfall on Wednesday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg Regional Airport saw .54 inches of rain. That beat the previous record for September 11th, which was .17 inches, set in 2005.

It was the first significant rainfall since August 23rd when.85 inches was recorded. Prior to that, Roseburg had .32 inches of rain between June 15th and 16th.
