The City of Winston has announced that 5 candidates are running for 3 positions in the November 5th General Election.

A city release said Mayor Scott Rutter will face Christie-Glen Knutson. Ward 1 Councilor Allen Hobson was appointed in July of 2022 and is running unopposed for a full term. Ward 2 Councilor Dave Cunningham is being challenged by Onikka Driscoll.

All terms will begin on January 6th, 2025.
