The Challenge of the Heroes fundraiser is happening on Thursday, September 19th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Presented by CHI Mercy Health, Mercy Foundation, the Douglas County Human Trafficking Task Force, and UP2USNOW, it’s an opportunity for law enforcement, fire fighters and EMTs to challenge each other to earn the most tips for Community Violence Prevention Initiatives, while enjoying delicious food.

*Abby’s Pizza on Northeast Stephens Street with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office
*Splitz Grill with Central Douglas Fire and Rescue
*Alexander’s Greek Cuisine with Umpqua Valley Ambulance and REACH Air
Sutherlin:
*Dakota Street Pizza with Sutherlin Police
*Backside Outpost with Sutherlin Fire
Winston:
*Carlos’ Restaurante with Winston Police and Central Douglas Fire and Rescue
Myrtle Creek:
*Millsite Park with ThunderS’Truck, Grub Slingers, and The Lemon Wranglers food trucks with Myrtle Creek Police, Myrtle Creek Fire, Tri City Fire and Riddle Fire
Glide:
*138 Grill, Coho Pizza, Colliding Rivers Drive-In and The Atom Bistro with Glide Rural Fire Protection District
