ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN MONDAY FOR ALLEGED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ON SUNDAY

Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged criminal mischief on Monday.

An RPD report said on Sunday, the 70-year-old reportedly threw a rock through a window at a business in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens Street, causing over $1,000 worth of damage. Officers contacted the suspect Monday at 11:30 a.m. and took him into custody without incident. He reportedly admitted to throwing the rock through the window.

The man was also arrested for a number of rock throwing incidents August 2nd. He was in custody until August 12th on charges of third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass.
