ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR DRINKING AND CAMPING MONDAY NIGHT

Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking and camping on Monday.

An RPD report said at 11:45 p.m. an officer contacted the 55-year-old while he was camping in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street. He had been warned and cited previously for prohibited camping at that location. The officer found that the man had an open can of beer. The man poured the remainder of the beer out.

He was cited for drinking in public, and prohibited camping, and was given his third city expulsion violator warning before being released.
